GUIDELINES FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL

SUMMER SCHOOL

2015

Daily Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (includes breaks)

7:55 a.m. – Warning Bell

Dress & Behavior: Students must abide by the Geneva County School Board Code of Student Conduct.

Textbooks: Furnished by school. Students must provide paper, pencils, etc.

Concessions & Breaks: Concessions will be available at the school. Time does not permit students to go to town during breaks. All cans, paper, and other trash must be placed in trash containers.

Attendance: To receive credit, only one absence with a parent note will be allowed. All other absences will require a physician’s excuse. All missed work must be completed by the student. Extraordinary circumstances will be considered on an individual basis with a decision to be made by the principal.

Grades: Only a final grade will be sent home or to another school. Your grade will be determined by pre-test, post-test, classwork, assessments, attendance and behavior as well as classroom participation. All requirements must be met to receive credit.
